お帰りなさいご主人様!

Welcome to Versailles Maid Cafe blog launch. Versailles Maid Cafe (VMC)  is a mobile cafe that appears during certain events only and currently a non-proft organisation. We currently do not have a fixed location. VMC was founded in the year 2011 by a group of enthuasiastic youngster. Our goal is to create the awareness of the existance and operations of a Maid Cafe. The objective of VMC is to share the experience of a Maid Cafe with the public. Our first operation was held in Swinburne University of Technology (Sarawak Campus) in collaboration with Swinburne Anime & Manga Society (SAMS). We are also affiliates of Anime Gathering (AG) organisation and often appear together.

The concept of a 'Maid Cafe' also known as メイドカフェ Meido kafe originated from Japan. In a maid cafe, the waitress play the role of a maid, treating customer with care and respect as if they are the the master of the "house" (the shop). Such concept is now popular in Japan. Maid's costume is similar to a French maid's which basically consist of dark and white colored petticoat, pinafore, headress and stocking. Most maids often wore costume with frilly and lacey designs.

Currently VMC is preparing for the upcoming Haru Matsuri event held at SMK Green Road this coming 30th March 2013 (Sat). Do come and visit us, we await your return master and princess! ;)
